Application for Admission to Pharmacy Technician Training Program

Please note before completing this application in order to take the pharmacy technician certification exam or work in a pharmacy the following are required but not limited to: high school diploma or GED, no felony convictions, no drug or pharmacy related convictions including misdemeanors, and no discrepancies with any state board of pharmacy. These violations must be disclosed to Medical Training of Virginia, LLC, Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB), and National Healthcare Association (NHA) before completing this application. All payments made are non-refundable.

Background check and high school/GED transcripts are required to be obtained by prospective students and submitted to Medical Training of Virginia, LLC before beginning class.

After successful completion of the pharmacy technician training program students are required to successfully complete the pharmacy technician certification exam administered by PTCB  or NHA at the student's expense.

Tuition Special rate is $850 for onsite classes and $850 for online only classes.

Books & national exam are not included.

There is a $50 graduation fee to cover graduation cap and gown due at the end of class.

Payment Policy: Full tuition is due before the first day of class. All payments are non-refundable. Tuition may be paid only in the form of money orders, cashier’s checks, or online at

Refund/Withdrawal Policy: No refunds for any missed classes. No refunds for early withdrawals or failure to take and/or pass national pharmacy technician certification exam.

Certificate of Completion will only be issued to students who have paid tuition in full, have successfully completed at least 80 course hours, and received a grade of 60 or greater on a ten point grading scale.
